We prioritized the bullets in the following order:
- Database of ABI Clubhouses:
- Joann & Beacon House will put together a data base (spreadsheet) by December 2010
of all clubhouses indicated their various stages of development.
- List of stages of development will include:
- Already IBICA members
- Following standards & pursuing IBICA approval/membership
- CARF accredited
- Not yet a clubhouse but want to be
- Form will be developed to be available on Website to gather this information from
new clubhouses
- Form for contacted clubhouses to complete all info will be sent to other committee
chairs)
- Outreach to Clubhouses and Individuals to increase membership (work divided among
several clubhouses
- Develop a “sales pitch” for making contact, providing info about IBICA and marketing
(by March, 2011)
- Development and recruitment of single memberships, for example:
- State BIA agencies
- Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies
- Professional organizations
- Establish where each “clubhouse” fits “ into the list of codes
- Development of Marketing plan and relevant marketing materials for IBICA
- Logo & Branding
- By December 2010 Brian will create proofs
- Sent to the Executive committee for approval
- Print Letterhead by December 2010
- Newsletter to be sent out biannually Feb 2011 & Sept 2011
- Electronic Google document flyer to be created by Antoine by December 2010
- Update and maintaining website
- To be added to the IBICA website
- “interest card/form” for other potential IBICA members (clubhouses/individuals to fill out
- Add logo/branding once logo is chosen deadline for both Feb 2011
- Recruitment flyer
- Funding/volunteer for being webmaster website – ASAP

- Management of list serve :
- Who should access list serve – group recommends anyone with a vested interest in IBICA/Clubhouses/Brain Injury
- 2nd list serve gone
- Look at other venues/avenues to use vs. list serve i.e.:
- Once a month, all clubhouses should post positive stories, etc – beginning immediately
- Planning of IBICA Annual Conference – Point people Joann, Claire and host clubhouse
- Recap/feedback week following the conference
- Email goes out, what did we like, what more would you like to see etc,
- More days/breakout sessions
- At every conference – IBICA business, developing IBICA, standards
- Breakout sessions
- Training/educational component for new clubhouses
- Member Involvement
- Move to each clubhouse committing to bringing a member for member involvement/input
- Hosting Clubhouse and geographically close clubhouses bring a member, Member scholarship at a minimum
- Selection of MCA Scholarship recipient:
- Cornerstone Clubhouse will develop criteria and form
- Executive Committee will chose recipient
